Our admissions number for each year group is 20.  In cases where this number is exceeded, the usual Local Authority selection process applies.  If a child does not receive a place in the first instance, an appeals process is available.

APPLYING FOR SCHOOL PLACES FOR SEPTEMBER 2024

For Lancashire resident families who will require a primary or secondary school place in September 2024 the means of application is via Lancashire's on-line system at:-

www.lancashire.gov.uk (then search "school admissions")

Where a parent wishes their child to be admitted to school during the academic year, the headteacher will need to contact the head of the child's current school. Headteachers usually agree to allow children to move from one school to another on the first day of a new term. (ie. after the summer, after Christmas or after Easter.) If the change of school is due to moving house, or there are other exceptional circumstances, mid-term admissions can be considered.
