Spaceman Workshop
Class 2 had the most amazing morning with a visit from a SPACEMAN! Mr B, as the spaceman, told the children about how he landed in Water and then they all went on a journey to find Space Ted on the moon! This activity was filled with lots of facts about space and also about Neil Armstrong. The children were then given the opportunity to ask questions (of which there were lots) and they were thoroughly engaged throughout the whole morning.
For the second session the children worked together to create a space base which would stand against martian winds and meteoroids. This incorporated problem solving along with teamwork and Mr B was really impressed with the children's responses and final bases. A brilliant learning experience for all!
